Students will attend a beach carnival on the last day of term to celebrate the end of the school year. Good standing will apply to this event. Students who do not have good standing will be asked to remain at school.

Students will meet at Yanchep lagoon at 9:30am and depart at 2pm when students will be dismissed from the lagoon. Orange Buses will be diverted to the lagoon. There are no changes to the bus schedule. Students who travel by bus will be supervised on the grassed area near the carpark before the carnival starts, and after the carnival finishes. All other students are to provide their own transport to and from Yanchep Lagoon.

Students will need to bring their own water bottles, lunch and snacks. There will NO access to Lagoon café. Students are required to wear appropriate swimming gear including a rash vest (a T-shirt can be worn over bathers if they do not have a rash vest). Students will not be permitted to swim without appropriate sun protection. Sunscreen will be available.

If for any reason a student needs to leave the carnival before 2pm they must be picked up by a parent/guardian in person and permission must be provided prior to the day.

Parents are welcome to attend the carnival.

Students who do not have consent will not be permitted to participate in the carnival activities.
