Yanchep Secondary College has a dance troupe which rehearse once a week. Entry into this team is an extra-curricular activity within the dance program and involves high expectations across a behavioural and curriculum context. The team will participate in a number of different competitions/festivals throughout the year. As a performing arts subject, dance students have the opportunity to perform at a range of different events throughout the year. For example:
- Choreography Night (End of semester performance night when the completion of the new theatre is built) including student choreography (a showcase of student’s own choreography)
